Christmas Eve Game 2026

Football Games on Christmas Day

For most of NFL history, games on December 25 were played only when Christmas fell on a day the league usually played. That changed in 2021, when the NFL started holding several games on the holiday every year, and in 2022 it played three games on Christmas Day for the first time.

Netflix has streamed Christmas games since 2024 under a deal covering 2024 to 2026. This year the games are on Netflix and FOX.
